Allie Bahn, (a.k.a. Miss Allergic Reactor) has a great deal of allergic experiences. Whether navigating allergy-safe restaurants or finding ways to eat while traveling all over the world, Allie is here to share her valuable knowledge and experience with you. She has always lived with life-threatening allergies to numerous foods and environmental allergens, as well as having asthma. She hopes her experiences will give parents and children inspiration to thrive with allergies. Allie is a licensed elementary school teacher, with her Masters in Elementary Education and her Bachelors in Journalism. During Allie’s senior year of college, she did an independent study on children with food allergies. She realized as she interviewed parents, that many were fearful and seeking guidance on how to teach their children to navigate the world safely with allergies. Allie was raised by parents who understood a child’s need for independence. Her parents showed her how to become the self-reliant, adventurous, world traveler that she is today. By speaking with these parents of Allergic Reactors, Allie realized her allergy expertise could guide others to live and thrive with food allergies.
